The 2013 edition of JDRF Granite Gala was held on May 5th at Wentworth By The Sea, in New Castle, NH. We were blessed with nice weather and a good turnout supporting the Fund A Cure efforts of JDRF. Thanks to the volunteers who were in attendance, also Tom Hiniker, who graciously allowed us to use his wonderful 1931 LaSalle automobile as a backdrop for group portraits. Special thanks to those who pledged funds in the battle against Type 1 Diabetes. Also check out the updates in the development of an artificial pancreas.
